Description

SPECIFICATIONS:

The Ventilator HME Filter Heat Moisture Exchanger (Model: A13000) is a high-efficiency passive humidification and microbiological filtration consumable designed for mechanical ventilation and critical care circuits. Placed inline between the breathing circuit Y-piece and the patient's artificial airway, this device captures the patient's expired body heat and moisture vapor during exhalation. Upon inhalation, it transfers this retained thermal moisture back into the dry inspired gases, ensuring safe airway humidification, preventing mucosal drying, and protecting both the patient and the ventilator from viral or bacterial cross-contamination.
Key Features
  • High-Efficiency Passive Humidification: Retains expiratory heat and moisture via an engineered hygroscopic matrix, effectively conditioning dry gases to protect respiratory tissue.
  • Dual-Action Microbiological Barrier: Outfitted with an integrated hydrophobic filter membrane achieving a ≥99.99% bacterial and viral filtration rating to maintain strict circuit hygiene.
  • Low-Resistance Airflow Path: Designed with an aerodynamically optimized interior that delivers minimal breathing resistance, reducing the workload of breathing for spontaneously breathing or mechanically ventilated patients.
  • Low Dead-Space Ergonomics: Built with a low-volume internal chamber to minimize carbon dioxide rebreathing and prevent unnecessary headspace accumulation.
  • Standard Circuit Connectivity: Features universal, leak-free 22M/15F and 22F/15M connectors ensuring rapid, tool-free integration with standard ICU ventilators, anesthesia systems, and endotracheal tubes.
